CAD and drawing requests

Use this page when the blocker is file access rather than price. It should explain what Browning can provide, what may be request-gated, and how buyers should ask for the right document the first time.

Ask for

  • Drawing PDF or mechanical reference.
  • CAD file if available and releasable.
  • Compliance or supporting technical packet when a quote depends on it.

Route guidance

  • Use RFQ if the file request is part of an active quote process.
  • Use Ask Engineering when the file need is really a fit or mating question.
File and drawing handling

If the file request involves a sensitive drawing or gated document path, use this route to state the exact part, family, or drawing reference and any handling constraints.
